I enjoy helping people to discover their God-given gifts and to reach their full potential. I am learning more about the amazing difference that Jesus Christ can make in our lives. When we believe what the Bible teaches that Jesus achieved for us through His death on the cross and His resurrection, to our minds this message can seem almost too good to be true! The Good News is that God has done all He can for us to live life like Jesus lived it – to the max. I’m married to Karen and together with our daughter, we like to share our lives with our wonderful Father God and serve people with His supernatural power and life-changing truths.

Hi there! My name is Karen and I am co-pastor at Heartbeat Church, along with my husband John. John and I have been married for almost 19 years, we have one daughter, aged 16.

Originally from London, I grew up in a denominational church and asked Jesus to be my Lord and Saviour at the age of 17 because of the witness of a Christian friend of mine from another church. I have lived in Coventry for 25 years, since moving here for university.

As well as co-pastoring the church, I also educate our daughter at home, and I enjoy all sorts of music and singing. I am currently a member of University of Warwick Chorus, and I enjoy the excitement of concert night.

Family, Food and Fun are important to me and I love having people in our home for ordinary meals and dinner parties all year round, so don’t wait for an invitation – invite yourself!

I want to see all those who I meet experience the love of Jesus through me, and I’m not there yet so there is more to be done. This is what binds us together as the family of God: knowing that we are blessed, favoured and loved. Church is one of my favourite places to be, I love the lively praise & worship, meeting new friends and falling more deeply in love with Jesus through experiencing His Word.
